Deepak Punia

Deepak Punia is an Indian freestyle wrestler from Haryana and one of the country’s leading 86 kg athletes. He is a former junior world champion, won silver at the 2019 Senior World Championships, and later added Commonwealth Games and Asian Championships success to his record. In PWL 2026, he was a key marquee signing for Maharashtra Kesari, bringing elite experience and proven big-match pedigree to the team’s title campaign.
