The Pro Wrestling League (PWL) is India's premier professional wrestling league, bringing together Olympic medallists, World Champions and the country's finest wrestling talent on one platform.
Built on international standards and formally affiliated with the Wrestling Federation of India, PWL is redefining how wrestling is experienced by athletes, fans and partners alike.
Beyond being a sporting competition, PWL is building a sustainable ecosystem for wrestling through professional leagues, athlete development, commercial partnerships and grassroots initiatives.
Our Story
Wrestling is not new to India. It is woven into our culture, our villages, and our identity, depicted in cave paintings, celebrated in akhadas across every state, and carried to Olympic podiums across five consecutive Games. India has produced legends like The Great Gama, Sushil Kumar, Yogeshwar Dutt, Ravi Kumar Dahiya, and Aman Sherawat. Yet for decades, this heritage had no professional home.
Pro Wrestling League was built to change that. Managed by ONO Media under the leadership of Chairman Dayaan Farooqui and CEO Akhil Gupta, PWL enters a new era with Season 5, one defined by transparency, athlete-first values, global quality, and long-term sustainability. We are India's combat sports moment.

As Vice Chairman of Pro Wrestling League, Yash Suryansh works alongside the Chairman to drive the league’s strategic initiatives, governance, and business growth. He plays a key role in strengthening stakeholder relationships, supporting commercial expansion, and ensuring effective execution across the organization. His efforts contribute to PWL’s vision of creating a sustainable and globally respected professional wrestling league.

As Chief Executive Officer of Pro Wrestling League, Akhil Gupta leads the league’s strategic vision, commercial growth, and operational excellence. He drives innovation across the organization by enhancing fan engagement, strengthening franchise and partner relationships, and elevating the overall competition experience. His focus remains on athlete development and building PWL into a globally recognized benchmark for professional wrestling.

As Chief Operating Officer of Pro Wrestling League, Parth Sharma oversees the league’s day-to-day operations and execution. He leads tournament management, logistics, franchise coordination, and team operations to ensure seamless delivery across every aspect of the league. His focus on operational excellence enables PWL to deliver a world-class experience for athletes, partners, franchises, and fans.

As Chief Sports Officer of Pro Wrestling League, Tushar Singh oversees the league’s sporting operations and competitive framework. He works closely with WFI and UWW to ensure compliance with international standards while maintaining the integrity and quality of competition.
